Silent Spaces Exhibition

David is a Raumati South based artist and illustrator. Since graduating from design school he has worked as an illustrator/designer for Wellington Newspapers, a visual effects artist for Weta Digital and as a freelance illustrator. He has had several exhibitions around the Wellington region and his paintings hang in homes across New Zealand and Australia. David exhibits regularly at the NZ Academy of Fine Arts in Wellington.

‘Silent Spaces’ is a collection of paintings done over a period of a year in between other projects. They weren’t originally intended to be a series, but there is a theme of solitude and peace connecting them.

‘Silent Spaces’ is David’s second Art for Everyone exhibition with Creative Manaaki and his first at NZ Sotheby’s International Wellington in the heart of Raumati Village.
