Holtom’s Art Studios Exhibition
As part of the Creative Manaaki Art for Everyone programme, we are delighted to present the first exhibition by Holtom’s Art Studios, outside their Paekākāriki venue, the recently refurbished Holtom’s Building.
The Holtom’s building in Paekākāriki, built in 1920, has recently undergone major renovations and earthquake strengthening. Before the renovations the area upstairs had featured seven artists working in their studios and displaying their work on the walls. In January, after renovations were complete, the number of studios increased to 11 and the number of artists to 12.
Artists operate independently and display their work in their own spaces, however, being part a supportive community of artists at the same time is fantastic. given this opportunity to exhibit as a group for the first time outside of our building.
Exhibition Viewing Times: Monday – Friday, 10am – 2pm.
Holtom’s Art Studios open Friday – Sunday, 10am – 4pm.
