David Owen Solo Silent Spaces Exhibition
Art for Everyone Programme – Curated Gallery Exhibtion
‘Silent Spaces’ is a new Art for Everyone solo exhibition by established artist and illustrator, David Owen. Since graduating from design school, David has worked as an illustrator/designer for Wellington Newspapers, a visual effects artist for Weta Digital and as a freelance illustrator. He has had several exhibitions around the Wellington region and his paintings hang in homes across New Zealand and Australia.
‘Silent Spaces’ is a collection of paintings done over a period of a year in between other projects. They weren’t originally intended to be a series, but there is a theme of solitude and peace connecting them. ‘Silent Spaces’ is David’s second exhibition with Creative Manaaki.
